Concert Golf Partners has a three-step commitment when acquiring a golf club.

Preserve the unique traditions and culture of the club
Concert Golf is actively seeking to add to its boutique portfolio. If your club or you know of a club looking to explore an acquisition — reach out to the Concert Golf Team below.
Hey Golfers —
Thank You.
Thank you for taking five minutes out of your week to read Perfect Putt. I read every survey comment and email you send my way — thank you for the positive and constructive feedback.
It has been a fantastic year.
My wife and I had our second child in June, and I received added responsibilities at work in July. Both have been rewarding and challenging experiences.
As I have been adjusting to these changes — there have been a couple of weeks where I didn’t feel up to writing, but a survey comment or email will push me through. You all are the best.
I was nearing the end of finishing my MBA from the University of Iowa in May of 2021 when an instructor insisted that writing online was something we needed to consider. I took him up on the challenge and started Perfect Putt — thinking I would do it for six months. My big goal was to reach 100 subscribers.
Perfect Putt has come a long way since I started it in August of 2021. It honestly shocks me how many of you read this newsletter. I am a guy with zero journalism or writing experience. Just someone that immensely enjoys learning about the business side of golf.
My goal coming into 2022 was to reach 1,000 subscribers — we did that. And a lot of that credit goes to you for forwarding an email to a friend.
It blows my mind how many countries Perfect Putt is read in.
Perfect Putt is read in over 70 countries. Here are the top five most-read countries:
United States — 77% of readers
United Kingdom — 7% of readers
Canada — 5% of readers
Australia — 2% of readers
Ireland — 2% of readers
What I love about writing Perfect Putt is the opportunity to meet so many smart people in the Golf Industry. I have talked to golf-related entrepreneurs in Estonia, Mexico, Australia, and beyond. The energy and excitement in the golf space is contagious.
Perfect Putt started 2022 with 507 subscribers and now has over 5,200. A majority of subscribers have come from Twitter.
Here is a look at referring sources.
A good portion of the ‘direct’ referral source is referrals from you or other newsletters.

Funny story about the piece I wrote on PGA Tour Caddie Compensation. A PGA Tour Caddie left me a voicemail on my work phone at my day job. I called him back — I’m not sure I convinced him to become a subscriber.
My goals for Perfect Putt in 2023:
Keep showing up and stay consistent
Provide unique and engaging weekly content
Hit 10,000 subscribers
Keep Perfect Putt free

My two major takeaways from 2022:
The golf industry is fantastic — there are so many kind people.
Golf entertainment is an incredible opportunity — the total addressable market is enormous.
The last thing I will leave you with.

Hey Jared, I just want to let you know that I really like your content and look forward to see what you have in store for this year. Also I think it would be interesting to break down the indoor golf facilities segment both inside and outside the US. Keep up the good work!
Keep up the amazing work. Love it. And go Hawkeyes.
