Jared - Interesting article. Can you clarify how you’re differentiating between retail and brick and mortar distribution channels? And how that differs from TopGolf?
Does it relate to company owned? As opposed to being a wholesaler to other retailers like Carl’s, GolfGalaxy, etc?
Hey Joe - retail would be like a Golf Galaxy (online and brick & mortar). Whereas a direct to consumer brand like New Level owns its distribution channel with selling online. And PXG owning its distribution channel with its brick & mortar stores and selling online.
It differs from Topgolf being that retailers (doesn't matter if it is online or brick & mortar) don't sell their own brands. They sell other brands, like Taylormade, Ping, etc. Topgolf has the ability to only sell Callaway products (and it is a brand they own).
